Also known as Yiga Choeling Monastery consists of a 15 foot tall Buddha ‘s model and Buddhist’s manuscripts. It is covered with snow capped mountains and views around it will awestruck you in a clear bright days. Ghoom Monastery houses the oldest Buddha’s sculpture around the Darjeeling district.
Kalimpong is a tiny quaint town and is a located about 20 km from the main town of Darjeeling. The weather is pleasant all the time and the best time to visit is during November to February. This place is far from the hustle and bustle of the town and a real treat for nature lovers. The famous spots in Kalimpong are Lava, Loleygaon and Rishab.
